KayakGearReviews.org is not only a place to find reviews of kayaking equipment but it is also a online community for kayakers. KGR offers a social network and a forums for the community in order to bring kayakers together to write, discuss and edit the best and most objective reviews possible. All reviews on this site are edited not only for content but to ensure the reviews meet the quality standard. This site has set a high standard of quality to be as objective as possible about the gear being reviewed. Gear will never be compared but will stand on its own. Reviews will be full, complete and impartial. If there is something wrong with the gear that will be reported on and explained in detail. As there are different flavors of kayaking so to are there different flavors of reviewer. All reviews retain the personal style of the writer. Gear can be used in multiple situations and it is best to read several reviews of the same gear to find the writer whose style best matches your intended use

KGR is working in mutual cooperation with BackpackGearTest.org to bring the most comprehensive and detailed series of reports around. While BGT is exclusively for backpacking and hiking equipment, KGR is exclusively kayaking and watersports equipment. We both strive to uphold exacting standards for our reviews such that they be comprehensive, detailed and complete.
